NOVEMBER:
Deadline - October 1

Patient Safety/Research/Infection Control:
Developments in patient safety practices. An overview of current research initiatives.
Innovations in the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant bacteria and control of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS and hepatitis.

DECEMBER:
Deadline - November 5
Women’s Health/Men’s Health/Year in Review:
Issues, trends and treatment of diseases specific to men, women and children including
perinatal care. A retrospective look at advancements and trends in health care and delivery in 2010.

Feature articles should be submitted by the copy deadline. If possible, let the editor know 2-3 months in advance of story ideas and planned submissions. Feature articles should be approximately 750 words.

News items can be submitted anytime and will be published as space permits. News items should be between 250-500 words.

Photos are always welcome. In order to maintain maximum reproduction quality please ensure that photos meet the following guidelines:

  • 220 dpi or greater
  • JPEG compression set at high or maximum
  • Image size is at least 4" X 2.5"
  • Minimum size of photo should be 1.4 mb before saving as a JPEG file.
